Eyes
Avoid
any hard defined lines that can melt in the heat. Go for a
softer, shimmery eye. Choose a powdered eyeshadow,
not a cream that will cake and crease. Blend with your finger
and let your dewy face soften the rest. Curl your lashes and
finish with a little waterproof mascara.
Hair
A great hairstylist of mine once recommended a product for
keeping hair smooth in the humidity: hand cream! St. Ives
Collagen and Elastin is the one. ($4.49/12 oz. @ CVS)
Apply a bit from part to ends-it is never sticky. And it is
especially great for taming frizz on curly hair. Use more
for thicker hair.
Feet
Sandals seem to wreak havoc
on your feet. Soothe dry heels and toes with a deep moisturizing
product I found at the register at Trader Joe's: Peppermint
Rosemary Herbal Salt Scrub with Green Tea and Celtic Sea
Salt (only $6.99/23 oz.). Rub on the scrub over the sink.
Rinse, blot, then apply a dense lotion and put on Softening
Socks ($10 @ Sephora). Wear these overnight for best results,
or for 1 hour if you're in a hurry. You can do this 1 to 3
times per week to keep your feet looking smooth.
