Abra Cadabra by Kahla is totally modular; and therefore, I totally love it! When buying a product, I just love to have options! I want to arrange things in my own way and adapt them to my design whims. Abra Cadabra does the trick for me!

This line of modular fine porcelain is all sold separately. Perfect. I first bought 2 cups in brown, 2 small square plates in blue, and 2 hors d'oeuvres plates. I used the ensemble as cappuccino cups and saucers. And on the lid I served an exquisite truffle.

A few weeks later, I went back for 2 dramatic hors d'oeuvres serving plates (one for my mom). My cappuccino cups were instantly transformed into lovely holders for dips.

Finally, I got 2 more "cups and lids" and the Kahla Cumulus larger square plates for pasta. The Kahla rep was slightly perplexed that I would mix 2 styles together, but to me, it gave me more options to serve a whole meal. My "saucers" were again transformed into bread plates, and the "lids" now contained tantalizing spreads.

As I said, I like a line where I can be a creative interpreter.
Just like my line of clothing!

But back to the porcelain. I found all these goodies at the only place in the U.S. that sells them: Lekker. And the good news is, you can shop online!
