If you are acquainted with the Elaine Perlov line, you know our economical concept of fashion. Our collections are based on modular options that stay fresh. I say, don't waste money on every micro-trend; instead invest in well-made, well-fitting pieces that are versatile.

At The Studio, our private clients enjoy custom fitting of the current collection, free of charge. Our Web clients are pleased to find that we offer the same custom-fit option online. If you are between sizes, need longer sleeves, wider armholes, etc., we will cut the garment to your specifications and enhance your figure.

Here's how to get a good fit when you shop online:

  • Provide your current measurements: Bust/
Waist/Hips, your height and any special needs.
  • Buy a flexible tape measure and keep it near your computer. We may ask you to take additional measurements, like distance from natural waist to fullest part of the hips. If you are short- or long-waisted, no problem. We can adjust our patterns to custom fit you. Who else does that online?
  • Alternately, go to a tailor and get measured. It’s free and accurate! When having a very detailed piece made, like our silk suit or pants, the tailor is the way to go.

As all seasoned shoppers know, every company has a different style of fit. Check our Fitting Guide, and happy custom shopping! Go to Collection and start coordinating your new wardrobe with our suggested outfit combos on every detail page.
