Dear Sarah,
Metallic shoes and bags are making a big comeback this Spring and Summer. I have seen some great treatments out there. I am currently lusting over a few Jimmy Choo bags at Saks (he has a new line of bags!). But instead I went for a pair of high-shine silver shoes. Here’s my advice: wear metallic accessories sparingly. For day, a silver skinny belt is a great complement to one of our silver foil t-shirt styles. For evening try silver stilettos with our pinstripe pants. With the toe just peaking out, the look is instantly updated. If you are going to go gold, try a matte finish. If you must have high-shine gold, make sure the straps on the sandals are ultra thin, and don’t pair it with a matching bag. Try brown or tan instead.
